John E. Davis, 66, of Sunny Ave. passed away the morning of January 24, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born in Latrobe, PA on October 18, 1949, John was the son of the late Clifford and Alberta Moore Davis. Surviving at home is his loving and devoted wife, the former Mary (Liz) DuBrock, whom he married on June 20, 1998. John was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and retired from the Wheatland Tube Company. He was a member of the Eagles Club and Moose Lodge No. 51. John also was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. He will be sadly missed by his family. In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, Carri Donatelli of Youngstown, OH; Jason Davis and his wife Helen of Las Vegas, NV; Todd Davis of Ellwood City; his step children, Ashley Baker and Seth Baker, both of New Castle; his brother, Clifford Davis; his sister, Linda Baker, both of New Castle and four grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 4:00PM by Rev. David Bell. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform military honors at the funeral home.
