Wampum resident, Salvatore (Sam) Colundrello, Sr., 86, of Kay St. passed away the morning of December 6, 2012 at Jameson Hospital. Born in Ellwood City on May 3, 1926, Sam was the son of the late Anthony and Angeline Parillo Colundrello. Surviving at home is his wife of sixty three years, the former Viola Seaburn who he married on December 3, 1949. Sam was a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII. He was retired from Medusa Cement where he worked as a repairman for forty years. Sam was a member of the American Legion Post 749 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by three children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one son, one brother and two sisters. There are no calling hours or services.
