Carolyn M. Wuenstel, 82, of W. Edison Ave passed away the morning of July 29, 2014 at Edison Manor. Born on February 3. 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, she is the daughter of the late Louis and Caroline Threnhauser Schreiner. Also preceding her in death is her husband of over 20 years, the late Karl Wuenstel, whom she married in 1952. Carolyn was a member of St. Justin’s Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, PA. Carolyn is survived by her children, Carolyn A. Wuenstel and husband James Mierzwiak of Monroe, MI, Dr. Mary Wuenstel of Pittsburgh, PA, and Carl Wuenstel and wife Kalyn of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Abigail Tuttle, Alex Tuttle, C.J. Wuenstel, Gwendolyn Wuenstel, Jay Wuenstel, and Karl Wuenstel; and great-grandchildren, Maxwell Haar and Lily Tuttle. Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours, and services will be private. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
