Audrey Ruth Ruby Caimano, 88, of New Castle; formerly of Savannah Road passed away the evening of January 10, 2013 in Jameson Hospital with her loving daughters at her side. Born October 8, 1924 in North Sewickley Township, she was the daughter of the late Earl U. and Blanche Gallaher McDanel. In 1941 she married her husband, the late William E. Ruby who preceded her in death in 1969. She then married her husband, the late John Caimano in 1971. He preceded her in death in 1993. Audrey was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, visiting casinos, jigsaw puzzles and word seek puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who’s greatest joy was the time spent with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Magliocca and husband Fred of Paradise, CA, Barbara Prestopine and husband Michael of New Castle and Linda Park-Oliver and husband Gary of Wheatland; sisters, Pearl Gardner of Nakomis, FL and Shirley Murphy of Ellwood City; sisters-in-law, Glenna McDanel of St. Petersburg, FL and Carol McDanel of Wampum; nine grandchildren, Brenda Apodaco, Janice Dewart, Pamela Fennick, Paula Bigley, Patricia Schaffer, Michael W. Prestopine, Brian Park, Bruce Park and Cindy Park; nineteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers Earl C. McDanel and Melvin R. McDanel and one grandson, Frederick W. Magliocca. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3000 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be conducted by Reverend Matthew Bupp on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery, Ellwood City.
