Bobby Pope, 63, of 26 N. Jefferson St. died the evening of Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born on March 22, 1951 in Sylacauga, Alabama and was the son of the late Earline Pope Corbin and Charles Burns. Bobby had worked as a car detailer. He is survived by his brother, Edward Lee Corbin of Sanford, NC; three sisters, Nancy Ellis of New Castle; Peggy Fair of Glennville, GA; and Cynthia Miles of New Castle. Visitation is Thursday from 12PM to 1PM at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. Services will be held Thursday at 1PM at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Robert Mills of St. Paul Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
