Madeline C. Rozzi, 74, of S. Liberty St. passed away the afternoon of May 12, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Born in New Castle on June 14, 1939, Madeline was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angeline Russo Rozzi. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish. Madeline had worked in the meat department for Giant Eagle and Shop N Save grocery stores. Prior to that she had worked for Rockwell International in the cafeteria. Madeline enjoyed playing cards, visiting casinos and gardening. She cherished the times she spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Madeline is survived by her three sisters, Caroline Natale, Mary Park and Angela Rispoli, all of New Castle; and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her six brothers, Dominick Rozzi, Benjamin Rozzi, Michael Rozzi, Samuel Rozzi, Alphonse (Chick) Rozzi and Andrew (Chuck) Rozzi. Visitation is Wednesday from 4PM to 7PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10AM officiated by Rev. Father Frank Almade . Burial will take place at St. Lucy Cemetery..
