Lori Fulvi

Lori Ann Fulvi, 50, of Warren Ave passed away the evening of Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her residence. Born in New Castle on January 30, 1963, she was the daughter of James and Lucille Monaco Dailey who survive.

Lori taught elementary education for 18 years in the New Castle Area School District. Prior to this, she taught third grade in Yuma, Arizona. Lori graduated from New Castle High School in 1980, and then furthered her education obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University.

Lori loved children and enjoyed her teaching position very much. She also liked working with computers, watching movies, going to Broadway plays and socializing with her friends. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her granddaughter.

Besides her parents, Lori is survived by her children, Jay Fulvi and Vanessa Fulvi, and her granddaughter, Maleigha Gardner, all of New Castle. Lori is also survived by two sisters, Sharon Lewack of Columbus, Georgia and Jamie Boazzo and husband Jim of New Castle; one brother, Frank Dailey and wife Ann of Toledo, Ohio; and three nieces, Rachel Lewack, Deanna Dailey, and Ava Boazzo. Lori was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward and Barbara Dailey, and her maternal grandparents, Donato and Lucia Monaco.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 11AM to 2PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St.

Blessing services will be held on Saturday at 2PM at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Frank Almade of St. Vitus.
