Julia J. Pallerino, 72, of W. Clayton Street passed away the afternoon of June 18, 2013 in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born December 26, 1940 in New Castle and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Louise DiRenzo DiBacco. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Pallerino, Sr. whom she married October 22, 1960.
Mrs. Pallerino worked as a sales clerk for both Fisher Big Wheel and later for the Liz Claiborne Store. Julia loved cooking and baking for her family and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Michael J. Pallerino, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Rod Pallerino and wife Melissa of New Castle and Jeffrey Pallerino and wife Jodi of New Castle; brother, Andrew DiBacco and wife Patty of New Castle; sister, Paula Parenti and husband Patsy of New Castle; sister-in-law, Jennie DiBacco of Scottsdale, AZ and nine grandchildren, Andrew, Alec, Macy Julia, Christopher, Jonathan, Matthew, Joshua, Tyler and Megan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Domenick DiBacco.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3000 Wilmington Road. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated by Father Nicholas Vaskov on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM for church. Interment will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
