Barbara L. Bartell, 80, of Avalon Drive, Union Township passed away the morning of April 17, 2015 at her residence. Born on August 28, 1934 in Greenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Erma Emmett McCune. On October 29, 1954, she married her beloved husband, Daniel W. Bartell, and the two spent over 55 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on June 3, 2010. Barbara served her country as a member of the U.S. Navy. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Barbara is survived by her children, Daniel W. Bartell of Woodstock, GA, Reverend Steven D. Bartell of Exeter, NH, Timothy A. Bartell of Monroe, CT, and Lisa R. Crasilli of New Castle; brother, David McCune of Virginia; sister, Sally Michael of New Castle; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Ryan. A memorial service will be held at a later date at First Assembly of God Church.
