Anna May Flamino, 80, of Ashberry Lane passed away the evening of January 28, 2015 at her residence. Born on January 10, 1935 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Vera Mae Crisci Venturella. On July 5, 1955, she married her beloved husband, Brady J. Flamino, and the two spent over 58 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on February 17, 2014. Anna worked at Liberty Mutual for 14 years. She was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She enjoyed crafts and was known for her bow making, but Anna’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Anna is survived by her children, Brian A. Flamino and wife Susan, Brady C. Flamino Sr. and wife Diane, all of New Castle, and Marcia of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Linda Venturella of Poland, OH; grandchildren, Alexandria Flamino, Lea Flamino, Christina Flamino, Brady Flamino Jr., Douglas Flamino, and Steven Flamino; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Venturella. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, officiated by Father Frank Almade, pastor of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. Entombment will take place in Parkside Mausoleum.
