Myrtle L. Session, 84, of North Round St. passed away the evening of October 5, 2014 at Jameson Hospital. Born on July 30, 1930 in Marianna, Pa., Myrtle was the daughter of the late Harlan W.D. and Mabel E. Shaw Brice. Preceding her in death on August 23, 2005 is her husband Robert Session, whom she married on June 17, 1951. Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of the Prevailing Word World Outreach Center. She loved writing and sending encouraging words to her loving family and friends. Myrtle is survived by her children, Robin Session-Cain and her husband Jim of New Castle; Gary Session and wife Donna of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Ellen Jayne Bell Robinson of New Castle; three grandchildren, Jarrett and wife Michelle, Ryan, Justin; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Myrtle was preceded in death by her daughters, Beverly Ann Session, Bonnie Gaye Session, infant brother, Leonard James Brice and her sister, Sara Elizabeth Brice. Visitation is Thursday from 1PM to 2PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A Homegoing Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 2PM officiated by Apostle David M. Young Sr., pastor of Prevailing Word World Outreach Center. Entombment will take place at Parkside Mausoleum.
