Darlene Ann Warso, 82, of Grandview Ave passed away the morning of July 5, 2014 at Overlook Nursing Home. Born on June 22, 1932 in New Castle, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Allen Borio. Also preceding her in death is her beloved husband, Harold George Warso, who preceded her in death on August 10, 1992. Darlene was a member of the Episcopalian faith. She loved cooking, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. Darlene is survived by her sons, Randy Melichar and wife Julie of Portersville, PA and Joseph Melichar and wife Cindy of Edinburg, PA; brothers, Frank “Barny” Borio of West Middlesex, PA and Darryl Borio of New Castle; sister, Cheryl Paglialong of New Castle; and grandchildren, Ryan and Conor Melichar, both of Youngstown, OH, Jennifer Crosby and husband David of Pittsburgh, PA, and Joseph Melichar, Jr. and wife Megan of Pittsburgh, PA. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
