Jeffrey E. Zeigler, 62, of Willowbrook Rd. passed away the afternoon of May 18, 2014 at Jameson Hospital. Born in New Castle on April 14, 1952, Jeffrey was the son of the late Merle and Ada Campbell Zeigler. Jeffrey was a retired electrician having worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 712. Jeffrey was active within his community and the Shenango Area School District. He was a past member of the Shenango Area School Board and had coached the Shenango Pop Warner football teams. He was also a past board member of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. He enjoyed reading and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 243. Jeffrey will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Jeffrey is survived by his two children, Jeff Zeigler and his wife Allison of New Castle; Kelly Zeigler and her fiancé Jerry Kovach of Pittsburgh; his two brothers, Richard Zeigler and his wife Amy; Merle Zeigler and wife Geanie, both of New Castle; and his former wife, Charlene Tanner of New Castle. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12PM to 1PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. followed by a Memorial Service at 1PM officiated by Rev.
