Helen DeVincentis, 84, of Scotland Lane passed away the morning of March 16, 2014 at the Overlook Medical Clinic. Born on November 12, 1929 in New Castle, Helen was the daughter of the late William and Mary Mastropietro Cast. Helen was preceded in death on December 31, 1998, by her husband, Alfred (Bingo) DeVincentis, whom she married on November 15, 1951. Helen retired from Bingo’s Restaurant and Lounge in Union Township which she owned and operated with her husband. She enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden. Helen loved spending time with her children, her sisters and her grandchildren. She is survived by her two children, Alfred G. DeVincentis and wife Judy of Boardman; Roxanne Taylor and husband Rick of New Castle; two sisters, Rose Scardefield and Dorothy Roselli, both of New Castle; three grandchildren, Tamara Taylor, Rico DeVincentis, Haley Taylor, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by her three brothers, John Cast, Tony Cast, Frank Cast and four sisters, Catherine Bloise, Theresa Offredo, Mary Manto and Josephine Fortuna. Visitation is Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM officiated by Pastor Jarod Mills of Clifton Flats Alliance Church. Entombment will take place in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
