Martha Hunt, 71, of Portersville, PA, passed away the morning of November 27, 2013 at her residence. Born on February 10, 1942 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Marion Anderson Ketzel. On June 3, 1961, she married her loving husband, Warren Hunt, who survives at home.
Martha was a member of Hoover Heights Christian Missionary Alliance Church and loved to travel. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her children, Shelley Basich and husband Tim of Leetonia, OH, David Hunt and wife Sharon of Hanover, PA, and Darrell Hunt and wife Stacey of Portersville, PA; brothers, Edward Ketzel and Charles Ketzel, both of New Castle; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:30PM to 2:30PM at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St.
Services will take place Saturday at 2:30PM at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Larry Llewellyn, pastor of Hoover Heights Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hoover Heights Christian Missionary Alliance Mission Fund 1947 Morris St New Castle PA 16102.
