Josephine Schotsch, 84, of Nesbit Rd, passed away the afternoon of November 12, 2013 at her residence. Born on March 15, 1929 in Hilgartsberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Max and Therese Hautzenberger Rimboeck. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Michael Schotsch, who passed away on November 21, 1991.
Josephine was a homemaker and volunteered as a seamstress for Jameson Hospital. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Eintracht Singing Society. Josephine loved sewing and baking.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Josephine Andres of New Castle, and sisters, Berta Girdham of England and Therese Fischer of Germany. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael G. Schotsch; brothers, Hans, Max, and Alfons Rimboeck; and sisters, Anna Rauch and Maria Eisele.
Visitation will take place on Saturday from 10:30AM to 12Noon at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 12Noon, officiated by Rev. Sean Walters, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church.
Interment will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
