Angeline Govojdean, 87, of West Pittsburg, Pa. passed away the morning of December 7, 2012 at Jameson Hospital. Born in New Castle on June 13, 1925, Angeline was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena Carangie Camerot. Surviving at home is her husband, John S. Govojdean who she married on August 11, 1951. Angeline was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Parish. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers of the former Holy Cross Church. In earlier years Angeline worked as a decorator for Shenango China. She was the past president of West Pittsburg PTA. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends. Angeline cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Angeline is survived by three children, Phyllis Stachowiak and her husband Blaine of West Pittsburg; JoAnn Woods and husband Norman of New Middletown, Oh; Marlene Damrow of Akron, Oh; three brothers, Jack Camerot, Benard Camerot, Joseph Camerot, all of West Pittsburg; two sisters, Carmella Bokros of Struthers, Oh; Maryann Jones of West Pittsburg; eight grandchildren, Mandy Stachowiak and Brittany Stachowiak, Gina Govojdean, Jessica Woods, Beth Woods, John Woods, Charles McDevitt, Jennifer (Mike) McDevitt and two great-grandchildren, Skyler Smith and Giovonni Mangino. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, John Govojdean, Jr. Visitation is Monday from 5PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 10:00AM for St. Vincent De Paul Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM. Rev. Father Thomas Sparacino will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
