Helen Fredericks, 94, of Edinburg, Pa. went to be with her Lord the morning of March 13, 2013. Born in Carbon, Pa. on July 4, 1918, Helen was the daughter of the late Nick and Stella Visnick. Preceding her in death on December 19, 1971, is her husband, Albert T Fredericks, Sr., whom she married on September 22, 1941. She was a member of St. Jude’s Episcopal Church. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, playing the card game thirty one, visiting casinos and bowling. She loved spending time with her family and cherished the times she spent with her grandchildren. Survivors include her four children, Samuel Fredericks and his wife Bonnie of Frizzelburg; Albert T. Fredericks, Jr. of Hillsville; Sally Braho of Edinburg; Helen Paiano and her husband Ron of Edinburg; her sister, Mary McLandrich of Struthers, OH; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kenneth Braho, Sr., daughter-in-law, Linda Fredericks, two brothers, Steve Visnick, Sam Visnick and her sister, Mildred Visnick. Visitation is Friday from 5PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Canon Dennis A. Blauser, Vicar of St. Jude’s Episcopal Church. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
