Betty E. Walker Eisenhuth, 92, formerly of Melvin Dr.,New Castle, passed away the morning of March 9, 2013 at the Haven Convalescent Home. Mrs. Eisenhuth was born in Nettleton, Pa. on September 23, 1920 to the late James D and Maude H. Walker. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Gilbert S. Eisenhuth, whom she married on September 3, 1941. Mrs. Eisenhuth lived in Butler for many years. She graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1938 and attended Indiana State Teachers College. She lived in East Brady where her husband, his brother, John Eisenhuth and sister, Lucille Replogle owned The Narrows Inn. She also lived in Clarksburg, WV., South Bend, IN., Wheeling, WV and Bridgeport, WV where her husband was Branch Manager for Associates Discount Corporation. Mrs Eisenhuth and her husband owned and operated the Gravely Power Equipment Dealership in New Castle until his death on April 7, 1974. Mrs. Eisenhuth retired in 1988 after fourteen years as Office Manager of the Midwestern Pa. Chapter of the American Heart Association. She was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. Mrs Eisenhuth was also a member of The Irvine Bible Class, Prime Timers and Wimodausis Club. She is survived by her four nieces, Susan Stranahan of Niles, MI; Betsy Stranahan of Penbroke Pines, FL; Virginia Patrizi of Dallas, TX; Carol Stevenson of New Brighton, PA; three nephews, James C. Welsh of Penbroke Pines, FL; Dr. Richard S. Walker of Las Vegas, NV; Pastor James Lewis of Butler, PA; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and her dear friend, Elinore Snyder of New Castle. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Eisenhuth is preceded in death by her two sisters, Agnes W. Lewis, Sarah W. Welsh and her two brothers, James B. Walker and Retired Colonel Richard S. Walker. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church 220 Clen-Moore Blvd., New Castle, Pa. officiated by Rev. Chris Weichman, pastor of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church and her nephew, Pastor A. James Lewis of West Liberty Methodist Church. Interment is in Butler County Memorial Park.
