Rosemarie Macri, 70, of Katherine Drive, Bessemer passed away the evening of November 27, 2012 in Jameson Hospital. She was born October 14, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Rocco and Theresa Ieraci. She was married to the late Vincent J. Macri who preceded her in death May 28, 2007. Mrs. Macri retired from the New Castle Transit Authority where she worked in housekeeping. She was a member of Christ the King Parish. Rosemarie enjoyed cooking and crafts. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Anthony. She is survived by a daughter, Christine Sutton of Bessemer; a son, Richard Macri of Bessemer; three sisters, Josephine Coletta of Long Island, NY, Catherine DiMartini of Brooklyn, NY and Annie Scalabrino of South Carolina and a grandson, Anthony Sylvester. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street. A blessing service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Father James Downs of Christ the King Parish will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
