Rose F. Frabotta, 87, of Columbus Dr. passed away the morning of February 5, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Born in Edinburg, Pa. on September 10, 1925, Rose is the daughter of the late John and Josephine Carbon Romeo. Preceding her in death in 1984, is her husband, Patsy A. Frabotta, who she married in 1954. Rose was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church. In earlier years, Rose had worked as a clerk for Silvermans Shoe Store. Rose was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she cherished the times she spent with her family. Rose is survived by her two daughters, Patti Frabotta of New Castle; Corinne Surano and her husband, Rosario, Jr.(Sidy) of Hermitage; her three brothers, Vince Romeo of New Castle; Frank Romeo of Wilmington, NC; Rocco Romeo of New Castle and her two sisters, Mary Romeo Ross and Terri Morrone, both of New Castle. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose is preceded in death by her two brothers, Joseph Romeo and Robert Romeo, Sr. Visitation is Thursday from 4PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held at 11AM at the funeral home on Friday officiated by Rev. Father Nicholas S. Vaskov of St. Joseph the Worker Church. Burial will take place at St. Vitus Cemetery.
