Nancy L. Tammaro, 73, of E. Reynolds Street, peacefully passed away the morning of October 28, 2015 with her sons at her side after a 13 month battle with cancer. Born on June 25, 1942 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Dante and Jennie Ciccone DeFalco. On July 29, 1961, she married her beloved husband, James Tammaro, and the two spent over 46 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on July 10, 2008. Nancy was a member of St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed going to flea markets, yard work, and cooking. Nancy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend who loved making people laugh and being in the company of her family and friends. Nancy is survived by her sons, Scott Tammaro and Jeff Tammaro, both of New Castle. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dante DeFalco II. Honoring her wishes, services are private. Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
