Victor Stoner, 69, of 294 Clay Street passed away the evening of January 21, 2013 in Greenville Hospital. He was born July 27, 1943 in New Castle and was the son of the late William, Sr. (Belfiore) and Maria (Katie) Santomauro Stoner. In earlier years Mr. Stoner worked as an operator for Ro-Med Construction and in later years as an operator for Lindy Paving. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid golfer. He was a loving grandfather who’s greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter. Victor is survived by one son, Justin Stoner of Edinburg; two daughters, Dana Kennedy of Pulaski and Giana Pace of Florida; brother, John Stoner and wife Phyllis of Transfer; sister, Maria Marcotullio and husband Frank of New Castle and one granddaughter, Makayla Stoner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Anthony Stoner, Sr., Renold Stoner, Fred Stoner and Bill Stoner, Jr. and one sister, Minnie Pisciuneri. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Nicholas Vaskov on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Vitus Church. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM for church. Interment will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
