George R. (Robbie) Foy, 50, of N. Liberty St. passed away the afternoon of December 27, 2014 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born in New Castle on February 26, 1964, Robbie was the son of Lawrence, Sr. and Margaret Hollabaugh Avery. His father survives and his mother preceded him in death. Robbie was a member of the Church of Genesis. He enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan. Most of all, he enjoyed the times he spent with his family. In addition to his father, Robbie is survived by his brother, Lawrence Avery, Jr., his sisters, Tonya Brest and Cheryl Book, all of New Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and two uncles. The family will receive friends from 2PM to 3PM Wednesday at the Church of Genesis 303 N. Cedar St. New Castle, Pa. Services will begin at 3PM at the church, officiated by Rev. Ronald Eade.
