Doris R. Clark, 88, passed away the afternoon of May 25, 2014 at Rhodes Estates. Born in Chester, Delaware on January 21, 1926, Doris was the daughter of the late Ara and Mary Thompson Bowen. Preceding her in death on November 8, 2000 is her husband, Earl Clark. In earlier years, Doris had worked as a counter for Shenango China. She was a seamstress and enjoyed needle pointing. She is survived by three children, Earl (Ed) Clark and his wife Linda of Lufkin, TX; David Clark and his wife Suzanne of Rochelle, IL; and Marlene Fair and her husband Joseph of New Castle; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris is preceded in death by her daughter, Jan Baron, two grandchildren, Jennifer Baron and Scott Baron, four brothers, Carl Bowen, Fred Bowen, Phil Bowen and Don Bowen and two sisters, Helen Breeding and Marie Neigoot. Private services will be held at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. on Thursday morning officiated by Rev. Dennis Bupp. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
