Lucille Cepro

Lucille M. Cepro, 82, of New Castle passed away the morning of May 9, 2014 at Golden Hill Nursing Home. Born on July 11, 1931 in New Castle, she is the daughter of the late Carmen and Dorothy Mitlo Stone. On November 19, 1955, she married her beloved husband, the late Archie Cepro, and the two spent over 50 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on May 13, 2010. Lucille was a loving and dutiful housewife and a member of St. Vitus Church. She collected angels and porcelain dolls, and she enjoyed cooking and baking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Lucille is survived by her children, Randy Cepro and wife Jodi and Joni Hudach and husband Scott, all of New Castle; sisters, Rose Temperato and Ann Miller, both of New Castle; grandchildren, Marissa Blakley, Kiley Cepro, Randi Jo Gettings, Scott Hudach, and Jonalyn Hudach; great-grandchildren, Madison Hudach, Matthew Cepro, Andrew Gettings, Emaleigh Lippman, Brianna Mikulsky, Kaelyn Blakley, Halaena Blakley, Grayson Blakley, and Decklin Blakley. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank “BoBo” Stone, and sister, Laura Mooney. Visitation will take place Sunday at 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vitus Church, officiated by Rev. Nicholas Vaskov. Interment will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
